Mortgage interest rates continue to trend downward as last Thursday rates fell below 3 percent. In 2021, the annual average rate probably will fall to 2.8%. Needless to say, new mortgage purchase applications are up this year by 15%.

And homebuyer demand seems to be holding strong. A new Zillow study has indicated 36% of Americans would want to buy a home entirely online during the coronavirus crisis.
