Last week, there was progress on a safe vaccine and there’s more in other vaccine developments. Researchers plan to enroll 30,000 people across the U.S. in the last stage, or phase 3 trial of the Moderna vaccine candidate. Results, which government health officials said could come by November, will determine whether or not it should be cleared for widespread use.
A successful vaccine changes everything, once it is in the market and deployed. It seems our government is aggressively investing in the ultimate manufacturing and distribution of a successful vaccine. How does this apply to real estate? Once the vaccine is on the market, the COVID home buying surge could substantially relax.
In response to work-from-home trends, agents and sellers are adding “Zoom rooms” to their listings. As buyers look to a future of working from home, home offices with pretty backdrops are seemingly in demand. Something to think about when preparing your condo for sale.

A “Zoom room” backdrop in my listing at Parc Telegraph 601. The thoughtful staging in this tastefully renovated residence provides plenty of video conferencing inspo. See more photos.

Web-hosting company GoDaddy suggests that “microbusinesses”, informal enterprises ranging from pop up restaurant food delivery to fixing computers, may be more resilient to the effects of the recession.

Open for up to 100 people at a time every Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.

A record high sale for Mission Bay. Closing in August, the sale of Residence 1507 will establish the highest price per square foot sold in Mission Bay this year. It is a great sale comparable for all condominium buildings in the neighborhood.
